Hp Jetdirect 170X Quick Start Full Blown One
Is what I've put on a old JetDirect 300X (see down the linked page for the item - lol its still available and its a 3 pack for that price i believe lol) and all i had to do was buy the PSU for the jetdirect 300X as ours was powered by the hp 2000C that we got it with about 6-ish years ago(Mostly HP JetDirects, but a little info on the Ricoh Savins) By Adrian 'Irongeek' Crenshaw. Absolute Zero, I try to plug directly into the box and change my ip address of my NIC to match so i could get into the console, also Zero Luck.This is about the time I started the post.End up resetting the box 3-4 more times, and use a Linksys E1000 as my router. By scanning my DHCP lease range. This did nothing, so I figured it was time for a good old fashioned reset.I reset the Crap box and try to find the i.p.
This pisses me off but I figure to wait another 10-15 minutes and do another test page. This page declares it as 192.0.0.192 now. I print a second test page a half hour later. This waste of paper says it still is initializing. I plug this is back into the printer and hit the print test page. Address to my network 10.x.x.90.
